Hi Guys, My megane has recently gotten more and more hard to find 3rd and wont return to neutral on its own. Im sure someone has posted about this being a linkage does anyone have a link for the original part. While I am doing this I was thinking a short shifter as well so any advice would be appreciated thanks??
Mine was the same. Third was a pig and the gearstick wouldn't self centre when in neutral. Changed to an Engine Dynamics shortshift last week and what a huge difference. The springy feel is back and the feel of the gear change has improved 100%. The White cylinder shape nylon on the shifter needs to be filed with a round file whilst you have it out of the car. I did this then put a bit of grease in and it's job done.

I went to change mine today but I could not get the bar out of the nylon bush I also have this problem not springing back to netrual any help?? Was on it for four hours
I haven't had a chance on it yet mate, the car is under warranty so will probably just book it in to get sorted if I am honest. Will ask them how they got it sorted and let you know
