From another conversation on here, I wondered the following How many one owner R26.Rs are the on here? Have you owned it from new. If not how many owners or how long have you had it? Whether you have or not how many miles has yours got?
3rd owner, but first owner only had it for less than 6 months and put very few miles on it. I have had it around 15months and it has just clocked 40k miles. Did about 7k in it last year but limiting myself to 5k in 2015.
Sorry - I forgot. 1 Owner. 6 Years. 27K. I think 2015 will be the year of the detail.... As for driving it. I'm a gentle driver.
Not many. I have a funny one where I gave it to my mate who is 2014 UK MINI Challenge Champion and he showed me its "rear wheel steer" capabilities That's not being shared online though Most are of me bimbling round the ring. None are spectacular as I have seen too many deaths out there to be "on it" anymore. Not done less than 8.30 in a long long time now. And I dont mind letting people by.
Sounds like you know what you're doing out there. I always see crash compilation videos, but shamefully don't tend to think about what happens to drivers when they get it wrong.
People forgot just how dangerous the Nordschleife is o maybe people are just too naive about it. I too have seen my fair share of bad accidents there and its certainly enough to bring you back to reality.
Had mine coming up to 2 yrs, i'm 3rd owner, had 17K on it when i got it, 32K now, had all the belts changed last June. Enjoyed every mile in it
I love mine. I'll honestly never sell it. It owes me nothing and on that basis it will always have a home. The longer I keep it the more I love it.
Used to be 5 but for some reason Renault then changed it to 6. I was advised to stick to 5 especially if you track it. Had mine done last year as well as a major service, all fluids inc gearbox oil, plugs, pads, discs. Ed (Liquid F1) done the service, he's not just good with a sponge
Should be mate. Had a tooth fall out this week and I've now got man flu but nothing stops me wanting to drive the R lol.
