Came in from dropping Ed aka Mr LiquidF1 home last night after an evening of pizza and Forza and locked the car. Could hear a weird noise which I didn't initially realise was from the car. Actually it turns out it was as air is pi$$ing out of the rear tyre. One of the tyres which is only 3 weeks old!! Only positive thing is that I was already home so wasn't stuck somewhere. Whatever that is suck in my tyre, it's about 1/2" or more wide so I suspect it won't be a repair.
Unlucky mate this never seems to happen to you when the tyres need changed any way. It may repair though depends om the size of cut on the inside of the tyre.
sorry to hear that, it sucks sods law, always happens on a new tyre and never an old one thats need replacing.
Is that a Vredestein? I had a big rusty nail go through a 2 day old vredestein tyre. Couldn't be repaired as it was too close to the tyre wall.
Yeah that's exactly what I think it is mate. Must have been left in the road and I've driven over it. That's exactly the tyre mate, they must be cursed. I'm doubting I can get this repaired but I'm going to order a replacement and will take this tyre to a fitter to put on a spare 225 wheel I have if it can be repaired. Can keep it as a spare if it's repairable, if not I'll buy a budget tyre for the 225 wheel.
I was told these guys could do a hot vulcanised repair on it but I had already binned it by the time I was told. http://www.ianbrowntyres.co.uk/tyreRepair.htm
Id like to know what Ed,s doing out eating, drinking, and having fun when he should be locked away in this garage detailing my car, , , lol.
That's unlucky mate  Had a full set of 4 Avon's fitted to the wife's car a few years ago. 2 days later a rear spring snapped and ripped the inside sidewall to pieces. Always the way....
Haha don't worry mate we were eating and drinking in the car and what Alex though was a realistic game was actually your car
I know, utter deviant though. When he said, 'wanna see some snow foam?' I thought he was talking about detailing!!
Try contacting your local authority as it's their job to maintain and clean the roads. Explain the situation, enclose a copy of the bill for your new tyres and request how to go about making a claim. It'll cost you 20minutes of personal time and a recorded delivery... may work, may not. Mick
