  1. Finally took delivery this weekend and a had a trip out to North Wales and Caernarfon Castle.

Still running it in so no more than 3.5k revs, but well impressed so far. Interior is fantastic.

Came with folding mirrors, electrocromatic rear view mirror, reversing camera and 18" Tibor wheels but no spare wheel.

  2. mmm that's pretty  interior photos?

  3. Congratulations

Looks so mean. How long is the running in period?

  4. Haven't got any interior pics yet but I will update when I do.

Running in period is 60 miles - done about half of that so far.

  5. Finally haha

Love it dude! Oyster Grey looks sweet with the decals!

  6. Congratulations, very tidy!

  7. Very nice, did you not go for the ohlins ?

    Approve.

  9. No ohlins. The car will be my daily and won't see a track so I thought they would be an expensive waste.

Running in period is 600 miles btw, can't edit the post.

  10. Spot on my thoughts exactly. I've only 49 days to go till my car arrives, it's the same as yours but with 19s and in black.

  11. Really nice. Must admit I'm not keen on the tibors.

  12. Dude, where did you get the 600 miles from? I've been told 1000 miles then ease up the revs ..

  13. It's in the manual. I'm one of the strange type of men that actually read them

600 miles or 1000 kms so that's maybe where your figure came from.

  14. Haha there's a manual?!?

I just jumped in and zoomed off lol

Look superb in OG with the facelift and graphics, Enjoy!

I wouldn't bother about not revving past 3.5k though, Vary the load and revs throughout the range but don't labour the engine. Will wear everything in much better than low revs and will create a stronger engine power wise

  16. Thanks for the nice comments.

To be honest, I'm not sticking strictly to the rev limit but driving it more like you suggest, without labouring it. I did take the opportunity to to wind it up a little in 2nd through one of the Colwyn Bay tunnels with the windows open, and can confirm they pop and bang on the over-run

After seeing the few on here it has made me seriously consider trading up to one, Mainly to get that exhaust and interior!

The Akra sounds lovely on them, Im seriously tempted by one, or more likely a custom Ti system, Should be a bit cheaper

  18. Looks brill mate. Can't wait for mine to arrive ow. Such a long wait :worried:

  19. Cheers mate - I'm sure it'll be worth the wait.

  20. Gave mine its first bath today ... best toy I've ever bought haha ... hope you enjoy it dude

  21. Oh I'm sure I will mate

Taking it to work today to no doubt be greeted with a chorus of "you've bought another car with stickers?"

  22. front end id very marmite.. but i love it.. love it totally

Interested to see how the Alcantara wears, Interior is bloody lovely on them though, Minus the horrid faux CF pleather on the seats

  26. Yeah I'm not sure how well it it wear especially on the steering wheel. Renault don't exactly have a good track record with them. It does feel fantastic though.

The fake CF doesn't look to bad in person tbh, on the seats. The door cards are a bit of a let down though compared to my old R26 with the white stitched leather.

I'm planning on a wheel refurb by Royal in Alcantara but may wait and see how these wear first.

Would get my Recaros re trimmed similar as well but pointless as I'm putting proper fixed buckets in now LOL.

Must say, The idea of one of these is growing but i must resist the temptation haha!

  28. I f*cking love those seats and am tempted to plonk them in mine. Anyone know how much it'd roughly costs to have mine re trimmed so as to look like those? I can't imagine it being particularly cheap

  29. They are awesome and very comfy; feel snug as anything. Also the cabin feels warmer then when I had leather haha .. its the small things

Edge Automotive do retrims, Cant remember how much but it isn't a cheap thing to do

  31. I love the interior on the Trophy and I would positively bloody love one in white with Ohlins and the 19's at the moment! Not much chance right now with business and the kids etc.

I'd be interested to see how the alcantara wears as well, when I had my steering wheel re-trimmed on my 250, that was the reason I went part leather/part alcantara, worried about how it would wear, what with sweaty hands etc.

The prices for Edge Automotive re-trims were posted on renaultsport.co.uk a couple of years ago, I kept a copy at the time, prices below, might have gone up since then, but pretty reasonable I think....
