Looking for opinions on exhaust drive to work 3 miles daily don't want some thing that drones or that's noisy on normal driving but a nice note when you give it some cheers Jay
I have the scorpion non-resonated cat back on mine. Not to loud even on a motorway. Sounds brilliant when giving the car some stick and cracks & pops a lot more than the standard exhaust. I also drive mine every day to work and it hasn't once became annoying.
How about just the midbox chop ,no droning and sounds awesome when giving it the beans .....pops and bangs
Ok thanks guys defiantly want to put a decat up front just wasn't sure on a full system etc. . Or just a decat and box chop or cat back
I've got K Tec's cat back on mine. Is very deep and pops heavily on the overrun which I love A much much better note than stock under acceleration.
I'm waiting for a supersprint race cat back system to arrive for mine. I'll post some videos after its fitted. Will prob be nearer the end of January though. As far as I'm led to believe the decat on a 250/265 will give you drone.
Nope mine's not decat. When ticking over it sounds nice and deep (not too much bass) and if it's warm you get a nice rolling burble and small pops. When driving normally it is much more noticeable than the stock system. You can sometimes feel the rumble coming into the cabin, but I don't think it's too intrusive. It's very loud if you take the rear seats out or fold them down though!
Mine is decat, Midbox delete and i have a small rear box to replace the standard one. its pretty loud tbh and drones with the decat

It doesn't, It just pops more as the throttle is much more sensitive to inputs. I'm yet to come across an off the shelf exhaust for these that improves the horrid sound they make, All the aftermarket options just seem to increase the volume. The Akra sounds the best out the lot but that will be down to the material it is made from.

I need to try and get an external and drive by of my current system, Decat and straight through system with a small rear box that is getting removed soon
convincing my mate to film a flyby when he doesn't care was pretty tricky! I would decat, but I honestly can't be arsed to sort it out when it comes to MOT'ing
