Arnold Clark grangemouth. Having a few problems. Drives side was replaced under warranty last year. Exact Same issue this year and they are not covering it
think i'm gonna risk taking mine into Renault to have both poxy windows sorted, i've been through a few regs now and pissed off keep having to muck with em.
this is the first time, I went in just for part numbers are quotes, they're replacing the loom and regulators if needed and will contribute 76% towards the overall cost for mine so just booked it in
asked them to look into water in the door pockets as well and stressed that the car is not to be washed or used when it goes in fingers crossed that's everything sorted then
water in the door pockets was caused by the drains being blocked on mine, easy to fix, also the rubber door seal covers the middle drain, so i cut a bit away. just have to find a way to keep the speakers dry now shitest bit of design ever.
It came well packed that's for sure! I don't know whats up with my camera but the red is also a nice deep color, not pink like it's come out! Cheers to TFD, excellent service!
Washed, mostly detarred then washed again, hoovered, bit of polishing of the sills (or trying to anyway) waxed and buffed. It'll be dirty again by tomorrow.
Had a delivery! Saving this for when she's back on the road. Massive thanks to smithandroper, the quality of the paint finish is top notch, service was just as good. 10/10 Cheers fella, proper chuffed with it!
Polly bushed the rear end on the clio changed the wire for the battery relocation and test fitted the track wheels, waiting on some track rubber to turn up next week, First outing on the 25th so better pull my finger out and get it finished
Had full geometry set up and corner weighted after having coilovers fitted just after Xmas. Can't wait to get to cadwell on the 14th march to see the difference over cooksports.
ha ha yeap they are from Streamline. They need to be bonded in place with something like tiger seal as there are no tabs to hold them in place. Not too sure whether to leave them on if i sell up
Im still trying to figure that out to be honest Steve. Im waiting for a few traders to come back to me with his quotes against pther cars so ill see what they say and go from there. Streamline themselves suggested that you can just pry them off. I think ill just leave them on rather than risk scratching them or cracking them tbh.
What's up with it? I'm guessing if it isn't moving you have me beat having reverse into the garage door, panel of glass and lots of hoovering later and it's nearly (bar a cracked high brake light) back to normal.
CV joints have gone so got two shafts ready to go in, and the clutch is slipping so going SMF. That's unlucky, you'll still be finding glass in months to come!
