Cooksport or H&R

Discussion in 'Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres section' started by Cb225, Jan 2, 2015.

  1. I am looking at lowering my 225 soon and just wondered which are best, i wont be tracking the car im doing it mainly for looks. I dont think there is much in price but i have seen a few sets of H&R second hand but the cooksports dont seem to come up that often.

Just wondered what peoples thoughts were.

Also do they lower the same amount?

    Many thanks

  2. Cooksports in my opinion.

Worth waiting for them to come back in stock, not much change in ride comfort either.

Both will drop the car about 30mm from standard height though.

  4. Cooksports.

  5. I've not tried cooksports, but I've been in a friends running h&r and they were excellent. Very good ride quality.

    I've got H&R, can't fault them.

  7. Cooksport need to do a better job of keeping them in stock! Could make a fortune.

They've been in stock for the last 6 weeks?

  9. I am tempted with the h&r just because i can get some for £90. Just concerned about ride quality and if there going to be poor over cooksports.

I think the h&r's are spot on height wise.

I wish more people had them to give reviews

  11. I'm quite critical re. Ride quality. Genuinely impressed by the h&r setup.

  12. If you go for cooksports I'll have the h&r's at £90!!

  13. It was based on a comment above saying "it's worth waiting for them to come in stock" plus the fact I waited for weeks for them to come into stock myself - thas' all

  14. Which lowers more? I have some 20mm spacers on the rear so don't want it catching really? Think i will go for the H&R as although mist of you say cooksports i also haven't heard a bad word on the H&R so they must be good. And at £90 i cant really say no. If i don't like they will be on sale here!!!
