And look what he left me No. 0921 ... (Apologies for the poor quality on the photos, the filter didn't come out as well as I had wanted) Arctic White, Ohlins, 19's and the new reverse cam extras Only been 50 ish miles so far but seems a lot more agile and smoother than my old RS250 Cup ... just seems more "pointy" .. . might be all in my head though haha! Love it so far!
Looks awesome Have report back when you have a few more miles on clock on how it is compared to the 250 not heard the exhaust before is it alot better sounding
Cheers all, super stoked with it. Only after I had placed the order haha ... but actually quite like them now and it sets it apart from the normal RS and think they look pretty good with the silver against the white. I can see why people would remove them though haha! Will get some better photos this week of it. One thing I'm going to be obsessed with though is cleaning it ... it's already filthy lol!
No no don't take them off please ,I totally agree with you ;it makes it look special which it is ,would look just like any other 250/265
Nice! I'm up to 6000km on mine! Just had a nano sealant (ceramic pro 9h) applied and now nothing will stick to the paint. Even dos the wheels, inside and out.
Does it really work though? Where did you get this done and if you don't mind me asking, how much was it? Dirt is definitely becoming a problem with the white haha!
I did a lot of research on the coatings, and believe that they are pointless without the right surface preparation. My car was washed, decontaminated with Gyeon's Iron, paint corrected where required, clay barred, twice wiped down with alcohol and then the sealant was applied. Same process applied to the wheels. Looks amazing and repels everything. I'm in Australia, so not sure how the pricing will translate- 332 pounds, with me removing the wheels for the guy. Took 72 hours to set/harden too.
Wow! That's awesome, thank you for the information; I'll definitely have a look in this sort of treatment and detailing
Teajay I'd have a word with liquid F1 (ed) he'll make sure it stays spotless. My white meg now resists all manor of road shite and cleaning is so easy now. Even the blood and carcass of a robin I mowed down was removed with no fuss. Santa wasn't happy.
Yep ed did mine with gtechniq and water sheets off the car like no tomorrow, the gtechniq windscreen kit is ace too £10 i think it is still going strong 12m later - cant remember the last time i put my windscreen wipers on!
I've got the repel stuff on my windscreen but only 1 layer so I've bought a bottle to put another couple of layers on just to build it up
This is the stuff i used http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/engin...hniq-g1-clearvision-smart-glass/prod_881.html
Did you apply this stuff yourself? And is it literally as easy to apply as it seems? Might get some of this for the glass and then speak with "Ed" about the paint work. Thanks for the tips and info.
I got ed to do it when he put the gtechniq stuff on the paint - drop him a pm its great stuff but yes, the windscreen stuff is simply wipe on wipe off, loads of vids on youtube
So, been for a 350 mile round trip in the last 24 hours to South Wales ... and my god, what a car! The cabin is such a comfortable place to be in, be it on a motorway or rasping around b roads in the back lot of know-wheres-ville and the sound ... jesus! Just west of the Severn Bridge, before you get to Cardiff are two tunnels. As I approached, slowed to about 40mph, window down, put it into RS mode, slammed it into 3rd and then Accelerated, Hard. Crack. Pop. Bang and a ROAR reverberating around me like god having a tantrum. Awesome. Simply put this car is epic ...
Sounds awesome tj ... Is that the akrapovic on these? I don't know much on the spec of these 275 trophys
