Hi all, I have a knocking on the front of my 225. The car had its mot a few weeks back and i told the tester about it so he spent 1hr 20mins beasting it putting bars in etc but couldn't find any play in anything. So abit stumped as to whatI should do. Does anyone have any suggestions? Cheers Craig
If it's knocking at low speed going over rough surfaces or bumps then it sounds like one of the drop links need changing. They are cheap and fairly easy to do.
Yeah it does seem to be speed bumps and rough roads etc. I will maybe have to get some and try that. If there cheap it wont hurt to replace anyway. Cheers mate
I did wonder about strut top mount as its only thing you cant really check. Mmmm who knows!!! Dam thing!! Haha
iv got this same problem but seems to be one of them were you just need to replace parts and see if it cures it :/
Changed the drop links today and its still knocking? Which are the anti rotation links? Are these the ones that look the same as the drop links but just shorter? Failing that i will have to try top mounts.
