So I never realised before when I was car shopping just how many extras a 250 Megane has (would be interested to clarify what is standard) but in my current 5 days of ownership I'm extra pleased, is there anything I haven't found yet? Auto headlights Auto wipers Auto locking Auto unlocking Cornering headlights USB connector LED interior lights Crazy headlight washers Phone Bluetooth Tyre pressure monitor Rear parking sensors
out of your list above the cornering lights are a function of the optional visability pack USB connector is optional Tyre pressure monitors are optional too. the rest is all standard.
there's a little bin under the mats in the footwell.. good for my emergency 50 quid stash hiding place
Nope, Auto headlights are part of the visibility pack, Along with the directional Bi Xenons, DRL's and Auto dimming mirror IIRC
I have the original Mégane 250 brochure on pdf but it's too big to post, so here are a couple of screenshots of the Sport model and the Cup model's standard & optional features. Might clear up a few things . FF/SPORT CUP
My cup has auto lights and wipers. No xenons or cornering lights or dimming mirror. My build sheet said the auto lights/wiper were standard. Drls were added optional extras on their own on mine too.
They are definitely an option Birchy. Out that list the only standard items are the Bluetooth, Parking sensors and headlight washers
As Jamie says Birchy, my 265 cup doesn't have auto lights or wipers. I feel cheated everytime it rains or gets dark
Well maybe the person who bought mine originally wasn't a cheapskate after all. Could of optioned the recaros as well though. Lol.
It's weird, I think the leather Recaros in 250 Cup were an after market jobby and possibly even meant for a RS clio of some sort only visual reference I can find anywhere of them is this pic ... http://www.clio197.net/forum/showthread.php?2882-Leather-or-Recaro-s&p=34449&viewfull=1#post34449 but its to do with clio?? Most odd.
I may be wrong, but that Clio looks like an after market re-trim by these guys http://www.edgeautomotive.co.uk I've seen several Renaultsports done by these people, absolutely first class finish.
I've loved them since I got it 3 years ago and have found them incredibly comfortable and hard wearing .. I just hadn't realised that they weren't the standard leather recaro option until now lol. This is what they look like in my 250 ... and same leather cusioning in the back
They are lovely  I would like to do mine, just don't have the funds right now.... I have a pricelist somewhere and for the quality of workmanship, cost is pretty reasonable, I understand they strengthen the bolsters etc. at the same time, to stop the wear problems on the standard Recaro's.
They are very nice! As I already have leather Recaro's though can't justify spending the extra just for it to be quilted. Also found Auto dimming mirror Auto folding wingmirrors I know my car is the FF version as that's what I was looking for but didn't realise it was specced so well in comparison to other cars on the market at that price!
I had edge automotive do my clio 197 recaros, these arent by them. There a renault accessory option, made by trim technics, liverpool.
