  1. As some of May know I've got my trophy up for sale and was on the look out for a 250 and after looking for a while now I kept looking at the same one over and over so I decided to make the 2hr journey to go and see it, wow was I pleased I did it looks so much better than the pics.....

    So here's what I got

It's a 60 plate glacier white 250 ( fastest colour by the way! That'll start some off lol ) with 33k on the and full service...
    The spec is..
    Leather electric heated seats
    Tom Tom garmen sat nav
    Dual climate control
    Factory upgraded sound system
    19" Steev wheels
Cat back system done by k-tech
    K-tec intercooler
    K-tec remap to 292bhp
    Xenon lights
Upgraded interior and exterior led lights (bright)
    High gloss black vinyl roof

Well that's it for now, I've prob missed something as I have had a chance to have a good play with it as I didn't get home till after 10pm

Here's a quick pic, I'll take more once I have gave it one of my cleans

  2. Well done. Very nice car with great specification.

  3. Yeah it's got everything I wanted on a 250, I was toying between the recaro buckets or the leather but I think I made the right choice!

Can't wait to give it a clean tho!

  4. Nice choice Minchy, sold the Trophy then? I'll keep an eye out for it on my way to work

  5. Nah mate I've still got the trophy, it'll just stay parked up till its gone.
I managed to get the 250 for well under my budget so I'm well chuffed

  6. You have really all options available apart from sunroof.
Recaro buckets are great if you like to do track days. I had Cup during test drive and I feel they wouldn't be so comfortable on a longer trips I attend on a regular basis. I found out that they also reduce space for rear seats, what is important if you got child seat.
Anyway, you got lovely car with fantastic equipment. It is also big bonus it has been mapped already. Well done and enjoy.

  7. Cheers mate, I surely will

  8. Yellow calipers? I guess it's non-cup pack and someone painted calipers?

The heated leather seats are nice this time of year though, nothing heats up as fast if you're a bit chilly. Just remember they're ON otherwise you start wondering how you soiled yourself....

  9. If true dinn will be extremely happy to have a sport friend.

Im already looking forward to the headlight conversations

  10. I know, talk about ruining every thread.

    enjoy the car mate!

  11. Lovely mate well done.

Not keen on seeing another one in the street though lol!!

  12. Are you serious? It was a genuine question  as it's not mentioned in the OP

Some of you chaps need to be a little less sensitive. We don't all wake up in the morning and head out to argue with people over the internet.

    Nice car mate.

Please keep bitching to a minimum guys.

  15. Enjoy the KTR cat back mate! Can't get enough of mine

  16. Think you need to read it again mate wasnt talking to you!

  17. Apologies, it sounded like a dig. My mistake.

  18. Yeah non cup, just painted calipers!
And I in no way disappointed it not a cup! I mean come on how many times are you going to use the rs monitor and as for the diff doesn't that just add weight!

As for the map I think that's quite high enough! It's not all about bhp but how good you drive!

But yeah I'm loving the SPORT 250 in the best colour! ( that might start something lol )

  19. Lovely looking motor mate. Enjoy.

  20. I have to be honest I used the monitor a couple times when I first got mine, then didn't touch it for 12 months. Then when I fitted the airtec IC I used it to check/monitor the intake temps and 'oil' temps.

I've used it to keep an eye on oil temperature on track days too.

The ability to change throttle mapping was amusing for about 10 minutes having tested the snow mode and found it predictably dull and then 'Extreme' for the fun of it. Then set it to 'Linear' and haven't changed it since. Moneys worth? Probably not, though I didn't buy new so it just came with it

I'm sure the diff does add weight, though a good clear out in the morning makes up for it!

  21. Ha ha Nick, nobody ever gets to see yours anyway, its always tucked away in its posh bedroom that you converted your garage into!

  22. Oh my well done that looks lovely hope you enjoy her

  23. Ha!! I wondered how long that would take

  24. i use my rs monitor every single trip.. changing throttle maps maybe 5-6 times every journey.

    nice car. Enjoy.

  25. Car looks lovely mate! Defiantly the best colour too  Wish mine had the heated seats at this time of year ha!

  26. Cheers chaps!

  27. So tempted to keep the trophy so I can see this every day lol 4f8e9729b805294806808c9fa70d1796.jpg cd52ba59554c0fc7b2d7557c60a6bcb8.jpg

  28. Nice collection mate

You know it makes sense

  29. To me and you it does but all the Mrs can see is the £££££ coming in lol

  30. Black roof looks lush!

  31. Thanks, it's a vinyl wrap at the min by the last owner! I'm planning on having it painted high gloss black by a lad at work (£120) worth every penny imo!

  32. Just a few pics after its had one of my cleans and waxing

  33. looks great. love the roof!

  34. Very nice Mick. I'm looking at these cars at the moment. Prices seem a bit more sensible nowadays. Only the Yellow ones though as they are the faster ones.

  35. Thanks, it's just a vinyl wrap but I intend on getting it painted in the new year!

Cheers mate, yeah I got mine at a good price 1.5k under my budget plus it's got all things I would've had done otherwise I'd probably still be looking!
It's awesome to drive! Does just look fast but sounds it too! Plus white has to be the fastest lol

  36. Just a little update on the new motor, these came yesterday so I'd thought I would fit the today, I think they look pretty good! The best thing is you can't really tell they are fitted happy days bdf7f4e867cd06921720c2f623a1ad6c.jpg a6a5d7a9a48cbe0343bc17b20dc5c809.jpg

  37. Subtle. Mine were a real pain in the arse to fit I found, but that could just be down to pure ineptitude from my side

  38. Been a while since I've updated this so here we go, I've had the silver strip on the dash done in yellow (no pics yet but I'll get them up) and I've had some side decals put on which I think looks rather cool with the reflective RS f6003b97f056e1c81e952cbb616094aa.jpg 61f560ad91f6fe0e6b40c469e253f7a2.jpg

  39. I plan on getting the wheels refurbed either original with a yellow rim or gloss black with a yellow rim and I'm in 2 minds weather to have the lights fly eyed!

  40. lovely car mate and I like it in white and I usually hate white cars. I think I prefer without decals though
