Picked up a white line arb, carbon discs and a set of pf97 pads, ordered an odyssey race battery and cage, test fitted the seat subframes, Will post pics of the car and parts as soon as it's back inside to have everything fitted
Do you mean the drain holes that go from the scuttle down to the ground? If so, what did you use. I've tried loads and mine still keeps blocking regularly.
I used one of these (Mine was from a pound shop): http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SINK-UNBL...DIY_Materials_Plumbing_MJ&hash=item415e717b21 Mine was blocked really far down, must have been right at the bottom. I was feeding the unblocker in for ages.
Washed and put on another coat of C2v3 after having the wheels refurbed and powder coated last week. I've got some polarised bolts to be fitted soon and will be having the mirrors and possibly door handles colour coded after Christmas.
Thanks mate, there are a couple of minor cosmetic issues to sort (scrape on lower front bumper and the handbrake arms are a bit scratched) but other than that it's pretty much bang on now. In the last few weeks it's had: New radiator Gearbox seal Decat Map tweak for the decat at RS Tuning (now running 272bhp/285lb ft) Forge recirc valve Front lambda sensor Plugs wheel refurb/powder coating Polarised wheel bolts (at Mark Blacks currently) All work done by Mark apart from the map, think I've spent about £1100 in total including all parts and labour. Christ knows how much Renault would have charged me!
Washed her and smothered her in a mid level polish for December. Noticed the bastard fireworks have gone through some of the lacquer on the roof so not best pleased about that. Need to get her to BTM asap at some point this month but I'll detail that in my progress thread.
The same and loving them, still want pfc's at some point, CL5's were also impressive but when down to 3mm the heat over wellemed and they literally melted. Will see how Ferodo's go
I ordered some rear camber plates, AST adjustable top mounts and some H&R springs to do me til my Coilovers arrive
They do but i have went for different ones as their Customer service is shite. Bobsan, Custom plates, have got 0.25, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5 coming, Aiming for -1.5 but need to see what the stock figures are at first and add from there
A trip to Mark Black to have: New inner tie rods New ball joints New arm bushes Winter tyres balancing and fitting New summer tyres fitting to my summer wheels. Cracking job by Mark as usual
Just had my wheels aligned. I can whole heartedly recommend Bram Racing in Featherstone WF7. http://www.bramracing.co.uk/wheel-alignment
thanks Jamie, don't the camber plates also have toe value as well for rear ?? my factory camber is: 0deg 50min all round and am looking for 2deg upfront and 1.5deg rear
Fitted the whiteline ARB, harness mounts and the helmet hammock, just need the harnesses and the battery relocation kit to turn up and I can start to drive it and see how it handles
Fitted some phase 2 rear lights to my Trophy. Wired the rear passenger side fog light up too. Looks crap with just one.
Looks much better, how did you get on with the wiring for the conversion ? Which guide did you use or can you get adaptors to convert the wiring ?
I just hot my multi meter out and tested them. Its very easy most are the same colour blue to blue orange to orange. White is reverse lights and fog light on drivers side black is negative. Not a bad upgrade for £35.
Cleaned it and tried out autobrite Chery glaze I've had from an old waxybox, it gives a very good gloss finish but took some buffing probably because its too cold, I didn't wait long enough for it to properly haze or c2v3 is still hanging on in there
