Had Alex's trophy in for a mini detail with some winter protection. Onto the before's: So sprayed with citrus pre wash: Then washed, and Britemax grime out used on the shut, gaps and petrol cap: Dried off: Migliore Clay towel was used and the car was rolled into the garage, don't even know what this was but tardis laughed it off: As the chosen protection was going to be Britemax extreme elements, I polished the car quickly first with Britemax blackmax, this leaves a lovely finish and leaves behind a polymer base to lay the extreme elemtns on top of: Then onto the Britemax extreme elements, applied by machine to evenly spread it onto the surface, 2 layers and let the second layer sit on the car for 20 hours, even then still a doddle to buff off:
Onto the arches, dressed with Gtechniq T1 and the wheels cleaned up an gyeon can coated: Exhausts with the britemax twins: Onto the roof bars these were quite discoloured so Solution finish was used: Stoners invisible glass: Gyeon leather coat used aswell as gtechniq fabric:
Rear light's out and claened up and sealed: Engine bay dressed: This is the second coat of extreme elements after 20 hours swiped to show it's still so easy to buff: Onto the finished result, might of thrown some Britemax Vantage wax on too :
Awesome job! My trophy needs some love atm, What citrus prewash did you use? I just bought some ValetPro stuff to try out.
Brilliant write up and amazing work! I was stunned at the level of work for a 'mini detail' The car was in pretty good condition before although not had a chance to wash her for at least 6 weeks meant she looked a bit sad! Looks better than the day it left the Renault forecourt!! Big thanks to Ed.
Looks great, a lot of work there for a 'mini' detail! How do the rear lower bumper grilles come off Ed? Mine need doing properly but I've never looked at how they come off.
Thanks Rob. I can't tell you all my secrets........... just tabs behind the bumper, just reach under and release whilst pulling, makes it much easier to dress them.
