Hi guys, let me introduce my beloved MRS265CUP. Had it since 12/12/2012, loved it and wanted it since the first pics in autocar mag... took me a while, but mission accomplished. Here are the specs: 265hp, without the stop/start nonsence Pearl white Leather Recaro seats 18'' alloys Cup chassis RS monitor front/back parking sensors what's about to be done: - to take the mid box out to hear the change or if unsatisfied to buy get the cat back supersprint exhaust - get a new set of front brake pads (still don't know which ones - Pagid or PF are a bit pricey, so thinking about CL RC5+ or RC6, or EBC Yellowstuff, duno yet) - PS2's are down to about 4mm and are starting to understeer more then they used to, so set of Advan AD08 will come sooner or later.. (got Pilot Alpin PA4 for the winter) and some things driving me nuts: - window/door squeeking/cracking - it gets worst with higher air temps, tried to fix it but nothing what will work more than a couple of days - cracking noise fron the boot - fixed by covering the rubber seals in the locking mechanism with a ducktape - passenger side recaro makes noises time to time when occupied - whatever - Had a ''Check injection system'' massage - still don't know why, but it's been erased and seems to be OK - BUT the pearl white colour is the biggets mistake I've made - the base layer of the paint is not covering like it should - u can see ''clouds'' in the hood and the roof and ''zebra stripes'' on the sides.. who does not know something about this stuff will not see it probrably, but it's kinda common and it's a factory fault. Talked to paint/service dude at my dealer and he said it's fine and that he does not see anything akward - so I WROTE THE LETTER to Renault CZ - gotta stop by Prague's HQ and let their head technician to be the jugde. I've seen this fault on every pearl white Renault car later on. Personaly I would not go this far if the paint/service dude admited this fault as a common thing and not lied to my face. Hi fletino & welcome. Nice looking car you have there. I was in Prague a month ago whilst on a 3 day track day at Brno. I didn't see a single renault sport out there. Lee.
Ou, too bad, I'm from Brno and I've been to a track day on July 19th. I did just one session since it was realy hot that day. Well in general we don't have much Renault fans here, it's better with RenaultSport but the sales are like 20 RS Méganes a year so you'll see Ferraris and Lambos more often than this
Welcome to the Club. I will be flying out to Brno again at the end of October - my girlfriend moved to the UK from a small village on the edge of Blansko so we make regular trips back there. We will be rocking a Fiat Seicento Sporting whilst we are there though. At least it is yellow!
