275 Trophy for Sale in Wakefield

Discussion in 'Megane Discussion' started by Pagey3103, Oct 24, 2014.

  1. I have seen Golf 7 R today for £28k at VW Slough, 14reg, blue, 19". I don't know about mileage, but for me Megane should be bit cheaper :-)

  2. I'd love to know where they got 12k trade in more like 11k I bet !

  3. If its been used even by main dealer then I'd want at least the vat off it.

  4. I got mine on order for £25k ish ... the only benefit of this one is its available to have there and then without the horrendous 3 - 4 months wait. You are getting a second hand car though regardless and have no idea how those miles were put on it ... at a guess I'm going to say not that kindly by Mrs salesman.

  5. Got warrantee so doesn't matter how it's been driven really , I'd want some good discount though, sound like a right bunch of twats at that dealership

  6. The most i have had for my 10 plate is 9k

wewillbuyanycar offered between 6-7 thought id check since focus rs owners are getting offered between 20-24k on their cars

  7. Apologies for the delay in responding.

Thanks Jamie but in the mean time I changed it to LY with the Speedline wheels. I saw a 2013 Clio in LY up close the other day and just couldn't help myself. So much for going for a bit of subtlety! As for the wheels, I just pretended to myself that I didn't know the huge difference in tyre cost.

It's a standard HP deal, no final payment. I've opted to pay the difference for the changes up front to save a new credit search etc.

It's from Renault Enfield. I went in there a little while back and found that the guy I bought my 250 from at Renault Watford now works there. It is a very strong P/X, particularly as mine is not perfect in terms of bodywork and trim. It's only done 23k though and has the leather Recaros/cap pack. They're obviously keen for the sale.

  8. IKR- how are MK2 Focus RS still valued at this price. If anything ive noticed they have increased in value , they arent even rare compared to the megane as i think 11,000 were made and half of those are in the UK.

I just dont get how the meg depreciates like a stone but the FRS doesnt!

  9. Because Ford have a lot of die hard fans for some reason, seems the mixture of bright green paint and rust is popular ?

  10. Lol

They all rave about that green colour more so than the blue which is apprantly more linked to the MK1 RS. Ive always said i would like to own one for the engine note, but given a 4-5 year old FRS with 25k on the clock is pretty much the same price as when they were first released i dont think ill bother!

I know a lot of people who have got rid of their MK2 FRS's recently as they are going to be hit hard with depreciation very soon, They just arn't selling at the ridiculous high prices now and the sensible owners know that now. My friend traded his in a few months ago and got a P/X of £20k!

  12. The Turini wheels are nice but like you say, the tyre cost is a good bit more, and also I think they will make an already hard ride worse. This will be my only car so didn't want anything too extreme.

I'm a bit hit and miss with the LY paint; it looks great on somebody else's car, but the thought have having on my car all the time - not sure I would enjoy the attention.

If you factor in the difference in finance between PCP and the zero rate they offer for the HP deal, it's surprisingly small. Around £80/month IIRC, and at the end of the term you keep the car obviously.

Tyre costs for 18 vs 19's aren't that much, Negligible tbh. Less than 20 quid extra a tyre, For a PSS.

  14. Yeah maybe not the best time to buy just yet but give it 6 months or so. Surely they will drop when the mk3 comes out

  15. PSS aren't available for an 18" rim at the right size, not that I can see anyway.

PS2's are available in the right sizes for 18" & 19" - the bigger size being £36 more on Blackcircles.

  16. If you opt for the 19s on the trophy are they still the same wheel just a different size? I haven't seen one with the 18s

  17. A new RS focus coming out then, the new focus st looks shite, more like an estate car

  18. No the 18 is the Tibor wheel, the 19's are the Speedline Turini.

  19. I hear it's coming just don't know when but it's going down to a 4 pot engine which kinda sucks.

altho the new type R isn't going to be revving to 8000rpm so it seems like each hot hatch will be the same :worried:

Might be a 4 pot but it will be the 2.3 Ecoboost that comes in the new Mustang, Should be a good lump

  21. All rumours though
ford should do the fiesta rs next

    Rumours? Nein.

Straight from a friend that works at Dunton.

  23. It will happen but just for now nothing is been said about it by ford themselves
still hope that nissan bring out the pulsar gtir

  24. It was announced some time ago that Focus RS will get 2.3 turbo engine which will produce 330 HP.

  25. Let me guess autocar ,autoexpress

  26. Dinn I can't take someone serious who bought a car with those wheels and actually likes them

  27. They are lovely :-)

  28. They're not. They are really not :worried:

  29. Come on guys be nice now

    are they from halfords ?

  30. They're not that good :tongueout:

  31. Nope :-)

  32. Sale now :-)

£26,9k and 3400 careful miles :tongueout:

  33. Still costs more than I've paid for a new one

  34. 3.4k miles and a nice charred exhaust surround already

  35. We'll after a couple of months I've noticed they have just dropped the price of this trophy by over 4k! Guessing this is still the price of a new one tho

Getting down to a more sensible price now, Bet it will sell for under 25k though.

  37. New one's are starting at just under £24k. Not sure how much the optional extras would add to that price though.

  38. For that exact spec it would be £30.700. But then Renault are offering 15% off new orders

  39. Really?? that's almost saving the VAT , and is seriously tempting. Maybe the arkrapovic exhaust and recaros has caused the price to rocket

  40. I'm assuming that is without the 15% off then? So £26k for a brand new car but having to wait for delivery or £27k for a car with over 3000 miles on it? I know what option I'd choose if it was me!
