I have been feeding my OCD monkey and been doing my research on the 250's specs. Regarding the differences in spec between the Cup & FF, can anyone shed any light on my summing up; If you have a CUP model, specced with Recaros, Climate control, RS Monitor & Visibility pack on 18"s, for example, Now... If you have a FF model, specced with Recaros, Climate control, RS Monitor & Visibility pack on 18"s + CUP pack Is the only difference that the Recaros will be leather and there is a rear armrest with cupholder in the FF? Thanks for helping me feed monkey
No worries grandpa, just relax back into your comfy chair, ease on the wool-lined slippers that you've had for 'fotty-year' , flick over to the indoor bowls and soon you'll be soundly asleep, occasionally waking yourself when you trump an especially violent fooffy.
Leather in full fat, cloth in cup, visability pack not available on the cup, pretty sure climates nit available on cup or atleast an option, no keyless entry on cup,
I've got leather Recaros, DLRs (I know not full vis pack) and keyless on my Cup  ... presumably all options though lol
You must get Cup with LSD, otherwise you will spot stones coming from the screen towards you :-) * * - joke
Make sure you get Xenons as well otherwise you won't be able to drive it at night as your won't be able to see anything and will die in a ball of flames.
Righty, so it seems if you spec-up a CUP it's not too different to a FF with Cup pack. dinn - If I don't have an LSD I will understeer straight through the roundabout where I live and crash into Tesco. Jamie - You're quite right, if I don't have xenons I will crash into Tesco due to lack of illumination even if the LSD pulls me round the roundabout. Both - I'm not being sucked into your handbag swinging - I've seen the other thread!
Don't bother about xenons. You may get better source of light buying "night breakers" from Hong Kong via eBay. It will cost you £9.99 posted :-)
On serious note, xenons are completely optional for me, but mostly they are a pain in the back bottom. My Integra had HID's when I bought it, one bulb went about a month ago and that's it - either replace the ballast box for a kit I can't find anywhere, or buy a whole new kit. So I just ripped the whole lot out and re-installed the original bulbs with some osram nightbreakers. So much easier and so much less faffing.
Im completely opposite, love xenons, my 182 had them but my r26 didnt, tried nightbreakers etc but nothing close so when i got the 265 it was an easy choice. Plus they turn with your steering which is great for b roads at night!
Nothing that is matching my spec at the moment, some have the right spec but satnav, others the RS monitor but too much mileage, or all the things I want but wrong colour, or a combination of everything but not right. I'm easy on the visibility pack and 18's or 19's, but it has to be white, FF with cup pack, climate, leather recaros and RS monitor and less than 30k miles.
I wouldn't be too strict on the mileage. Mine's just gone over 30k and still looks and drives like new. Just check it's all serviced. You'll need to replace the belts at 6 years anyway regardless of mileage. Sounds like you know what spec you're after anyway. Matches mine apart from the colour .
I would suggest you to check if you have LSD fitted, as without CUP badge you may own Sport model with seized front caliper :-)
Cup badges were added to the door pillars by some dealerships (not all) and the V5 will state only what the dealership told the DVLA when registering the vehicle. Mine is a Full Fat with Cup option and says Cup on the V5.
I did recall leather not being an option on the 250 cup. They later added a fake leather option on the 265 cup options list later on.
