Yes it is mate, but it don't know where it was mapped or to what fuel as it was done before I got it. The cat was literally falling to bits inside, and Mark reckons it was partially blocking the exhaust and causing the car to limp and misfire. It seems ok now, I'm phoning RS tuning tomorrow to get it booked in to check the mapping and if it's pants I'll have one of their custom Stage 1 maps done.
Fitted lower wishbone mounts Arb bushes Rear camber shims Uprated exhaust hangers Removed the dash and a load of wiring Checked the tracking Road test!!
I do mate but you know what women are like, it's all the same to them. At least she put some in, when she borrowed my last Meg she ran it so low I ran out after half a mile! Got it booked it in for a stage 1 remap at RS tuning next Friday, will be interesting to see what power it makes now (a RR printout I was sent says 251/258) and once it's been done by RST. Hopefully 260/280 with the decat, I wouldn't argue with a tad more though.
If I was to do it i'd have them powder coated and have the big brake kit, no point having sexy callipers and bog standard brakes lol!
Middle box chop done! Love it sounds perfect now. Deeper tone and more pops and bangs on the over run. No drone at all so win win. Then left the car in Ed's (liquidf1) hands for a full detail. Looking forward to Tuesday to pick her up!
Glad you are liking the box chop. Makes the world of difference. And on track I only registered 84dB.
I love it mate, after your vid I was sold. The only downside I'd I only got to enjoy it for 40 mins as the car is with Ed being detailed now! Glad to hear the noise levels are perfect for track to.
I'll check the diary Steve, looking at brands hatch on the 14 th with Ed and a few others. Ed is trying to get Martin to come as well. It's a Sunday which makes life easier for me.
Will do I dont mind if Martin does brands, it's local for him as is Donny for me and this time of year I'm not too fussed about traveling to far myself
Grow a pair and come down South Steve, happy to take you out etc last year's one was hilarious in the pouring rain.
Washed it, Discovered paint flaking at the rear spoiler/roof joint and on the door trims. Good old French motors
replaced interior lights with LED ones.. will do number plates and side lights, when the weather permits..
Picked her up from Ed's special detail bunker. Ridiculous levels of clean, debaged too and was able to enjoy the pops and bangs from the mid box chop on the way home. Very happy
