Got the car booked in at rstuning next week for an rstuning decat, milltek cat back, forge intercooler, 630cc injectors and a stage 2 map. What sort of power have people made with the same sort of mods? Also, how significent is the difference after a stage 1? Any other suggestions welcome.
Stage 1 260 bhp and 270lbs, for the amount your spending you'll get around 285 and torque will/should be capped off at around 300

I can't i've been itching for weeks for everything to get there! I've already had a stage 1, but £1800 drive in drive out.
Not needed unless your running a hybrid/bigger turbo. Its the stock turbo that is the restriction power wise on the 250, Not the fuelling. Hybrid, Injectors, Decat and a map will see your circa 350bhp on the Mk3 and is the route i am going down next year if i don't get rid of it
That seams a fair price considering the parts and labour involved and also the map, I'll be keeping an eye on this to see your comments and dyno figures , this is going to feel like a whole new car
As others have said, that does seem pretty decent for the work involved. Do you need a stage 1 map first, or can you go straight for this?
All the stage numbers make me laugh You can go directly from a standard map to the map of your choice. You dont need any intermediary map. Map tweaks are generally cheaper than full maps
