Hi all, signed up here a month or so ago so thought it was about time I did the introduction post. Currently have an R26R which is my second Renault Sport having had an R26 in the past. I'm hoping to do a couple of track days next year. I did a day at Brands with my old R26 which was great fun and have joined mates at Renaultsport days at the Ring, Spa twice and Le Man in the last couple of years. I am based on the South Coast in Sussex so if you see me about give me a wave. Rob

Remember seeing yours at Goodwood too Chris, it was looking ridiculously clean. Originally was specced with R888s and cage, sadly no Ti exhaust which I desperatly want to add. Currently on about 26k miles and is standard apart from Backdraft Motorsport floating discs and Ferodo DS3000 pads Tyres will need replacing before the end of the year. Currently thinking of Yokohama A048's.

i have a048's on my mini and they are good tyres. have you thought about federal 595 rsr i use them as my track tyres on the megane and i think they are great, tracked in torrential rain as well and they have good grip in both wet and dry and they will not break the balance, they have lasted twice as long as r888 and are like 1/2 the price
Great tyres but they are really noisy, drove me mad on the way to Spa last year, i've got AD08R on now, seem really good on track and great on the road, and cheapish compared with the AO48, oh, and welcome along, nice car.
Well I went for the Federal 595 RSR in the end and have just had them fitted along with tracking checked ready for the RS day at Brands in April. Anyone from here booked it?
good choice of tyre i need to book brands at some point as still my fav track however i did do snetterton last sat and was great fun. even if i don't book april, i will pop down and say hi
