R26 R26 Stage1 or Stage2 - What can a standard engine Handle????

And thats a good approach,being able to stop with increased power is always my first priority.
Good tyres are also all important to exploit the R26`s great chassis.
The shortshift is one of the best mods for the meganesport, to go a long way to remove the weakest part of the package..the horrible vague gearshift.
Many a time before the shortshift was available,i would find myself fishing for gears on rapid downshifts..a bit scary when pushing on, and trying to engine brake on downshifts

 

I am saying MY 313.5 bhp / 320 ib ft car DOES NOT torque steer ( I do get feedback , I would be worried if I didnt ) on a average pot holed uk B road.

 

I love the short shift.
