  3. Does look good, thought they only came in black or the liquid yellow? Someone will be happy today.

    Good choice TeaJay!

  10. That looks great. A few more pics would be much appreciated, especially the interior.

  11. It looks the same as any 250 to me but with a sticker on it

  12. It is even worse. You could have xenons and other bits on a 250 :tongueout:

  13. Nice, reminds me of when i got the 265 eh Ash!

  14. Haha externally ... possibly ... aside from the exhaust, new front design and sexy wheels

Internally ... recaros look epic and nothing like my 250s ... and more power to boot

It's like my 250 but shinier with everything upgraded haha

My colleague in Belfast has just sold his r26 and got a fully loaded 275 on order.

  16. I drove one round oulton the other month, no big deal

  17. ^ No, not as good as the .R?

  18. Lovely car to drive , nice inside, different to the R, more useable than the R and proberbly better than the R at most things, it feels a lot heavier than the R and didn't feel as nimble nor as much fun, to me it's just another new car like all the rest of em, for what I use and need my R for suits me, I prefer the rawness , would I pay 30k plus for a 275, not a fookin chance.

  19. Well I for one will congratulate you mate on a fine looking and very capable machine  I hope it gives you smiles and smiles!

  20. Yep enjoy

  21. Is this in comparison to your .R? or just in general?

The only reason I ask is the majority, if not all, reviews of the 275 I have read have said its an incredible drivers cars, especially around a track. I would be very interested in your opinion, having never done any track time myself ... and having ordered one lol

Also a nice little review here in the Autocars best drivers car awards:

and beat some strong competition in the verdict

  22. Good article and the meg held its own in some prestigious company. Personally I love it. Yes it 'looks' the same but there's much more to it than that.

The same could be said for the original R when compared to an R26 or a Clio trophy compared to a 172 cup or 182.

I agree it's not as raw as the R but that didn't make it any less special when fully specced.

  23. I'm not saying it won't be or feel special, I'm sure it will and you'll love it, it drove beautiful very planted and quick, for me though I just can't see it being much different to the 265 that Corey has bought, Christ you could get 2 265s for the same money , I may even get one in a couple of years if and when they loose half their money. But like I say lovely car and very nice inside it's the type of car that you could easily drive to the ring in and do a track day and not be in pain from being strapped in lol

Yeah mate, be ideal if this one was LY

  25. I think it's great, don't get how it's not as "raw" as an R26r? What some car with dodgy cage that doesn't even have attachments for the harnesses and some sligtly revised old struts with 2 fixed position seats. Renault have got Ohlins to build and spec suspension specifically for the car, there's weight saving, a more rigid chassis with a wider track, better brakes. Why are some people so against the progression.

  26. Now your talking about the 275 R , I drove the 275, no ohlins and back seats

  27. You see the 275 has rear seats, no cage, no harnesses, no plastic windows and full of all creature comforts so how can it be as raw as an R26.R that's stripped out

  28. IF I was the OP and getting a 275 RS Megane, I would say shut the fudgup and look at what I just bought you fukjgin ...........................wa.......s

  29. You need to see someone, lovely car enjoy

Just to clarify, i havent bought a 275, and never would, i work at the dealers its at

  31. End of the day the owner has bought it because he likes it, that's all that matters. I think its a great looking car BUT I also would save some cash and buy a 265. Also agree with Steve1 that you can feel the weight on track but it still performs outstanding.

That's where the trophy R benifits from the diet.

  32. If you spec the the 265 to near the same as the Trophy, they cost almost the same though, and you still won't have the Ti exhaust.

I can see why it's not worth trading from a 250/265, but from anything less I think it's good value for money personally. It's getting compared to GolfR & M135i a lot but again, when spec'd to similar levels, they are a lot more expensive.
