    Do the racks vary much?

I have an original 225 FF rack in the Meg and whilst she's undergoing some changes in the next month I thought I'd maybe freshen the responses up.

I want to change the rack bushes anyway so if the R26 rack is noticeably quicker than a ph1 225 rack then I'll source one.

    Cheers.

  2. I've been thinking this too for my ph1.

Hopefully it shares one with the 197/200, they seem to have an awful lot of parts that are the same.

So what would the 197/200 ratio on the rack be equal to? Surely there's someone on here that knows....?!

  4. I've no idea but I know the 200 Cup has a quicker rack than the 197 variants.

Failing that the .R might have a quicker rack

  5. iirc there is no difference

No? Could have sworn they revised the rack on the r26, or maybe it was the cup/trophy onwards... Hmmmm. I'll keep digging.

  7. I thought they didn't change the rack on the later models just revised the amount of weight on it, that can be changed with the RStuner and an additional module IIRC. Although if your changing the rack i assume the weightiness would be stored in your ECU so should be 0 difference

They are all the same rack.

    I always thought this too.

  10. The rack in the 265 cup is quicker than the sport model too. Will it be the same scenario, same rack just a different setup?
