Why didn't he just check for power at the plug etc when he had it all off? only takes 2 mins.

Ah I see, the way it reads is that you had the reg checked but had to go back for the wiring check.

No power to the reg then?

 

Seems that way. Didn't have the time for a thorough check, was literally a pop in for 20 mins on Saturday. See when I drop it in next time.

 

IIRC you can buy the section of loom that's in the door.

 

In my case, turned out to me a dodgy connector in the door.

Took a bit of troubleshooting by my garage but a 'easy' fix in the end. Just troublesome but glad it wasnt the reg or the motor gone!
