Both look to be torsion diffs so you have the same advantages/disadvantage with both. Better off with the big name though probably.
I wonder how much of the improvement people report from fitting a Quaife comes from simply having a newer, fresher diff.
Reason I ask is garage suspect my diff has gone. I've been told it's not serviceable so will probably have to get a Quaife. I don't want to get a Quaife if the R26 lsd is better though as it makes the car imo.
Gripper is a plate diff and not fit and forget like a Quaife. It would be what I'd go for if mine was just a track car.
My mate has a gripper in his R26, awsome , big difference over standard diff, just need to get the right oil in it other wise their very noisy, his is fine now he's changed to a different oil, no noisier than standard now, but on track it's day and night
