Hellooooo, Very quick question, how would I know if my standard recirc valve is leaking?? Had mine RR'd yesterday, running 245bhp with 280lbs of torque.....thought the BHP was slightly lower than I'd expect for a Stage1 with a Milltek centre pipe, backbox chop and the DIY filter setup? They said that it looked like the boost drops off top end? Just wondered if that might be to do with my recirc valve?? Regards Mark
After 4000 u will c the turbo psi going down. U need mechanic boost gauge to figure out. Or get some logs
If your running the standard recirc, I'd get it changed out. I'm surprised this is not more recognised. Uprated dump valve should be mandatory for stage 1 really. The standard recirc is weak.
I could actually hear mine leaking through my induction kit. It was also making a squealing noise occasionally. It didn't show on my boost gauge.
I can hear a whooshing noise when I put my foot down, like a vacuum cleaner? I thought that is just the turbo sucking there air in?
