Anyone fitted a 250 turbo to a 225

290-300 max with suportive mods.(fmic, 3" exhaust, injectors, airbox mod)

Friend of mine have turbo and injectors from III RS and he reach 298bhp and 266lbft

 

that would be a nice mod! but a bit costly for me haha

 

Is it a direct swap, even to the hoses and oil feeds are interchangeable?

 

As above. I put a 250 turbo on the Meg engined Clio. It's a straight swap as it uses the same housing.

I noticed a marked improvement with torque at the upper rev range, held onto it much better. The R26 unit dropped off rapidly so I'd say it's a worthwhile upgrade if you don't want the high cost of a hybrid.

I pulled 293bhp and 297lb torque with it.
