Iv been busy tinkering

  1. Afternoon all, I thought I would share some pics of my handy work , been busy changing
    the track rod ends
    inner tie rods
    35mm lower springs
    black diamonds (sprayed)
    drop link arms
    fully rebuilt callipers (new seals etc and painted all pretty)
    new gear box oil,
    and managed to get some grease melted into the top bearings and swivel bearings

    You surely need the tracking re-done now, no?
     
  3. Yeah sorry about the pics, I can change springs and calipers but can't work out how to attach pictures on here properly, lol,
    full geometry alignment being done at the weekend.

  6. Cheers, the paint is a ebay special, 181473018113
    to be fare it seems reasonable quality, no need for undercoat , or lacquer , 3 coats and half hour I between each one,
    new brembo decals again ebay and good to go,
     
  7. What 35mm lowering springs are these mate?
     
  8. Hi davidsf1 as I wasn't sure if I would like it I didn't want to spend to much , so I went for Ventura springs on ebay,
    please toy supprised of the quality really, weather they last as long as cooksports or h an r time will tell,
     
  9. Have you got a link for them please mate? Iv had a search on eBay but there's loads for the megane ranging from 20-40mm drop so can't see which ones are correct...
     
  10. Oh sorry davidsf1 I brought them as used,
    the guy brought them for his sport diesel and they sent the wrong ones to him, I will have a look when I get home and send you the part number , if that helps , it is writen in the box,
