R26 Installing DAB Radio

  1. I currently have an alpine stereo with steering wheel, (poor) handsfree and iPod connectivity. However I'd also like DAB radio.

I'm not averse to changing The stereo, but don't want to lose the steering wheel, hands free abd iPod connectivity.

What are the best options for installing DAB as I don't have a clue?

  2. get an Alpine with DAB and compatibility with your existing accessories?

  3. What would I need for an aerial?

  4. Many FM antennas will work pretty well for DAB also..

If your reason for switching to DAB is poor signal coverage in your area, you might need a DAB specific aerial, however..

  5. I want a specific radio station (kerrang radio). However the reception for this station isn't great.

While my Meg is getting repaired, I'm using an insignia and am enjoying the DAB

  6. I've got the pioneer double din dab with hands free, it's mega

  7. What aerial did you use? Can you pick up kerrang radio?

  8. Not sure bought a good one from halfords £20 recomended by pioneer, sticks to the windscreen , never lost signal yet , brilliant mate
