Hi everyone my name is Nicky and I'm a 19 year old from Bulgaria I a new to forums and I've just joined up here. I've learned a lot from here and very respectfull of this forum . Ok so I bought my car in May 21st this year from the owner it's an 07 plate megane rs with 120000 on the clock. It has the standard rs 18" multispokes. First I have a question what is the model of my car... is it r26 (think not its 5 door) or just a 230 or something else ? Yeah its really a nice car but i am not driving it yet because its not very local in our area but i would like o see this car and check it it in my workshop and its specs and everything about it.
updates Sorry for the late update. Recently I've installed some roof decals and paited the door handles black. I also replaced the transmission bushings. Soon I will have to repaint the hood and front bumper because of stone chips. My fornt and rear bumper need to be adjusted they are not properly aligned, do you have some tips for this? update hello, here is a little update. I got some stuff covered in alcantara and Jorge Diaz from RS-R hooked me up with a front strut brace and a short shifter. Here are some pictures of the car so far: Hope you like it.
Time for a bit of an update on the megane. Its been a while since ive updated as the weather here has been very cold and snowy. Couple "big things" done to the car. Cupra lip is one of them, it has changed the looks a lot for me and I love it. I just installed K&N Cone air filter and ran a cold Air intake from behind the grill. Also my favorite mod has been the seat, I installed the Sparco Pro2k and it just has transformed the car feel for me. And did some small things like redoing the front badge black and also the rear one and put a sun strip. Hope you like it here are some pics. please feel free to comment below and give me some ideas.
Hey, After I got a lot of opinions for tires and wondering between the Federal 595 and the Nankang, and many people recomending the Pilot Super Sport. Ive decided to strech the budget a little and get the PSS. So far they have been very impressive. I've driven in the pouring rain on PSS and the grip they have given was unreal .. almost like it wasn't raining. Some peole told me that this tire need to be heated a lot to work in the dry but I havent been able to test because of the weather. oooh and the sidewall design fits my roof decals
Rear Wiper Delete I found the rear wiper pretty useless on my Meg, soo I decided to DELETE .Here is my home made wiper delete: Also did my arm rest in alcantara but I dont have a picture cheers
Braking Power hello, So yesterday I installed my new disk's and pad's. For the disk's I got Brembo HC and for pads I go EBC's Yellow stuff. At the end of the week I will istall somebraided hoses from Hosetechnik and Motul 660 brake fluid. Here are some pictures:
I havent updated the thread for a long time. In the past few months the car has changed a lot. Here is a short list: 1. Fitted brake ducts 2. Rear strut bar 3. 76mm Decat pipe form RS-R 4. SMF form RS-R 5. Refresh on some bushings on the suspention. Also this weekend we had a Renault Event on our track (near Plovdiv- Dracon). Ive won the time attack in my class "M" (MOD) The car handled perfectly and I am really happy with all the mods and the whole package. Here are some pictures:
