  1. Took the OEM pads out the other day to take the glaze off them and noticed they're stamped ferodo but branded as brembo. Just wondered if anyone knew the compound. eabad9345b78b4517139159a85cd89d1.jpg

  2. What do you mean branded brembo? The calipers are brembo, pads ferodo always have been!

dont know on the compound but some say similar to the ds2500 and id agree, feel wise

  3. The anti squeal backing is marked brembo. I know the calipers are brembo I've had a few renault sports and never seen an OEM pad stamped ferodo yet, hence my question about the compound, ie is it the equivalent to the DS2500 etc. The pads must be made by ferodo for brembo as they come in a brembo box not a ferodo one.

  4. They're defo not DS2500s as they're branded as competition pads and I can't see them being fitted to a standard road car. Also they have a very specific bedding in process that your run of the mill customer could not be expected to correctly carry out.

Isn't there a DS pad compound which is a sport road compound? Possibly closer to that than a dedicated track pad.

  5. ah i get you mike, ferodo's were on the r26 from memory too. odd they are boxed in brembo mind.

yes ben I didn't mean they were ds2500's i meant they are a similar feel (from experience) hence I likened them to them. the std pads are decent if you are using them properly.

  6. They definitely weren't ferodo on the 200 they were just brembo. Maybe enquire about it before I order my next set, I think the OEM pads are fine for daily use and the odd track day. Not much cope if your hammering them all the time though.

  7. There were ferodo 197/200 aswel, topic came on clio197/200.

  8. Ah I see, I've never noticed it before!

  9. I used to always just buy Ferodo Premium pads for the Clio, did The Ring and track days with them and were great. Only difference was they didn't have the split in the pad.
