Hi folks, Thought I'd introduce myself as I've just registered after splashing out on a 2010 RS250. My name is Ian and I live in Ipswich, Suffolk. The Megane is White on black wheels (the 18's) with Dual Climate and TomTom pack. It only has 14000 miles on it so it will make a nice change getting out of my near 100k mile BMW 530D M. Only one downside, I have to wait till next week to pick it up as I'm on holiday from tomorrow! Disaster! Obligatory pic - unfortunately I didnt take one at the time as I was too busy having fun in it.

Thanks for the welcome guys. Looking forward to getting in it. The BM was ok. Few problems as with all cars. Swirl flap removal. Auto gearbox leak. I like the spider wheels too, but they are hard to come by. I just had the standard M wheels on mine. I probably wouldn't get another though. But that's probably cos I've had this one for 3 years.
Finally picked the car up today. Absolutely love it. One thing though, whose idea was it to put dark red needles on un-illuminated black dials?
lol. it is hard at first. you get used to it it was updated for the later models. I remember when you were able to go into deals and ask for the new needles and they would change it for 50 quid
I guess they don't offer that anymore? I was half expecting the dash lights to be on all the time but no suck luck.
doubt they offer that now mate. It wasn't an official recall but more of a complaints procedure which saw the offer to fit them spread through word of mouth. mick at diamond motors has a set of updated clocks but i don't know how much hell charge to fit.
Don't ask the dealers mate they'll just try to fob you off, ring Renault UK customer services 0844 335 0000. The dealers (Evans Halshaw) weren't interested when I brought it up with them but RUK were really helpful.
Car looks ace fella, really nice. Just out of interest, did you get any sort of warrenty, now that the I guess the Ren one has expired?
I got 6 months from the dealership I bought it from. I'm contemplating an additional warranty after that but need to look into it more. Some a very expensive and are as slippery as an eel at avoiding payouts.
