Hi all, I have recently purchased a Megane R26.R, my first RS Renault, and was recommended to sign up here. Hoping to learn a bit about these cars here and meet a few of you on track days at some point. Matt
Welcome. There is a Renault Trackday at Oulton Park, on the 27 August,and a good place to meet. A few of us also have a R26R,so good to have another owner.
Thanks for the welcomes. Car is number 73. Black, black wheels, cage etc. no Ti exhaust so have added a turbo back Miltek with sports Cat. Still early days but have managed a weekend at the 'Ring and a day on the Snetterton 300 layout. Great fun! will check the diary for the 27th but oulton Park is a bit of a trek from me for a day (about 200 miles) so may wait for one a bit closer (Snetterton, Brands, Bedford for example if Renault hits days there?)
Flynnio. For me,its 528 miles. I am 74 years old. If i can do it, i feel sure you can. Come on man up.Ill even buy you a cup of coffee.(very small one!.)

Its a Renaultsport track day.Its sold out,but come along and meet everyone. I am sure a few of us will give you a run out.
I'm on the reserve list Arthur , if I don't get a place I'm sharing johns with him, but yes I'll do a few laps with you, I'm bringing my 15 year old daughter with me it'll be her 1st time out on track
Don't let your daughter stand around all day If she is allowed in a car.i would happily take her round for a few laps.
Ahh bless you, I'll keep her busy, I'll be taking her out in johns and she's great at getting coffees from the cafe
