shampoo/wax

Mr pink is good. Just bought some and got good results.

 

As a day to day shampoo you want something wax friendly that won't strip off your protection. Dodo juice born to be mild is a good example

 

Britemax clean max is my fav at the minute

Also Dodo born to be mild is awesome .. I don't use it very often tho because it costs a fortune lol

 

Carchem 1800:1 or Glacier Pure 001.

Glacier is alot more expensive but it smells lovely and works fantastically. £28 for 500ml but it comes in a fancy glass bottle and the fact it can be diluted 2000:1 helps lol.

A lot of the shampoos recommended are good shampoos, but aren't wash and wax shampoos.

 

Smegal is right, I didnt see the wax part of the title. The britemax one contains wax polymers and gloss enhancers so that'll be perfect for you.

 

I've never believed the hype of wash and wax, you can't effectively put down a resilient coating of wax by simply splashing shampoo over the car. Why not use a shampoo of choice then a spray wax detailer like Dodo Juice Acrylic Spritz?

In my experience it'll offer ten times the finish, beading, durability and protection whilst still being a quick process.

 

Britemax all the way , Great suds , Great wash and Great shine when finished , Ive used Britemax range for a while now Theres not alot around that comes close for the money , for a quick wash and brush up I use the shampoo and then top it off with some spray and shine

Agreed, although picked up some autowash from waxstock to try out as it has less wax and suds more ... only a tenner!

 

I need some more shampoo. Anywhere do free delivery? Can't be arsed to pay 3.50 delivery on one bottle of dodo juice shampoo.

Yeah I'd second that as well, nice and sleek, PH Neutral and plenty concentrated so you don't need a lot.

 

I’ve finally got round to buying some Sonax ‘Red Summer’ under recommendation from Liquidf1 (ed) on here but haven’t had a chance to try it yet as it only arrived yesterday.

 

I use autobrite banana gloss, nice and soapy/bubbly, leaves an amazing shine too.

 

I purchased wolfs chemicals white satin. Really impressed to be honest.

 

Their stuff is meant to be pretty good, heard good stuff about the sealant.

You get plenty suds with it?

 

Yeah much more than I ever did with dodo juice/megs/auto glym.
