driving along today and noticed the car sounding as if it has a stone stuck in the tyre after serching round each wheel nothing was found but still continues to make this noise!(from drivers side) any ideas what it could be? dry cv wouldnt make this surely.
Have checked for a nail in the tyre? Also, I believe there is a sticker on the driveshaft which can come unstuck and cause a strange noise. Have a look there too
mine was a sticker on the driveshaft peeling off and catching on other parts as it turned took me ages to find what it was too
ahhh i shall have a look guys would make sense! didnt know if it was the tyres being extra sticky with the hot weather
This was my problem looked today and sure enough that sticker was peeling! Removed it and no noise now, great advice thanks alot
