Had the ac regassed a few weeks ago, with the uv stuff to check for leaks. Went back today, and seems to coming from this area. Any ideas what it could be?
Pretty sure that's where the Aircon pipe joins the condenser. You've also got the pressure switch there I think.
Yeah it's the one that takes the most grief. It's also pretty easy to change - Renault do a complete seal kit that's fairly cheap.
In fact I can see it now I'm on the laptop - I'm not sure but is there green around the pressure sensor too? - I'd swap them both if I were you.
Mine leaks from that area, but on mine the rubber part of the pipe has actually rubbed against the fan shroud and has a cut in it. They somehow missed this on a leak test, bastards. Look at that shiny intercooler. That's what I want mine to look like. Not fair.
I might still have that pipe in my shed from when I removed the aircon off my diesel. I will have a look. You can have it if you want just cover the postage.

Right, I've got the ac switch and the new seals to go on. Is it just a question of removing/refitting the new switch, and undoing the leaking pipe and replacing the seal?
