I've done 6k miles in the megane now and I've got the standard Renault mats which have totally disintegrated where both my heels go. Anyone else had this issue? It's only underneath the mat, like the backing layer is worn right through.
The Renault sport ones? Yeh mine have a wear mark on the topside right thru to backing. Shame they don't just sell drivers side only as the rest are perfect
No just the standard grey mats that have the megane tag on the sill side? I'm going to pop in and see if they'll replace it, car is only 7 month old too. If I turn the mat around I can see the cloth from the front of it. Pretty poor quality even for a standard mat. Yours the ones with stitched writing?
Ive got 42.5k and my RS mats have got two holes in now where heels go . You would think these would last forever. Ive noticed wearing smart shoes for a while does the damage! Thinking of taking to have it repaired somewhere!!
Hahaha I think it's just because they're ridiculously shocking quality, I wear motorsport edition puma trainers when driving so it can't be the shoes either. Mind you, 42k is pretty good Josh?
Ha well suit shoes don't help! Yeah they were fine and all of a sudden there was an indent and holes appeared! Have you got the same ones? Maybe you should take yours back and moan if theyve worn that quickly!
Na I don't, mine is a cup so I got the cheap standard grey mats that just have the megane tab on the edge, think it's the ones they put in the standard models. But tbh I think I will pop back anyway and see what they say because 6k is pretty poor for a set?
Ah right. Yeah if I were you I would take them back and have a bit of a moan. I had standard ones in my last megane and they lasted for 65k miles and were fine so you should have a word with them !
