  1. Hi guys. Desperate help needed!! I went quick over a speed hump well 30mph or so but i didnt even see it!! Silly me! Then got to work and two hours later got a call to say oil was all over the floor!! Looked like it was from a hole under the front. could it be the sump? Sent it to a mechanics!! If it is that? Where can i get one from? Just to mention there was no more oil when i checked the dipstick. Had all poured out.

  2. sounds like you cracked it or put a hole in it will be a renault only part

  3. Maybe i did Lemon. Im not sure. Could it be the sump plug? And so i give renault a call then? Is it called a sump or an oil pan? Thanks.

It'll be a damaged sump matey rather than the actual drain plug. It's not a bad job on these though and they can be found 2nd hand to

  5. Good excuse to fit some ARP rod bolts whilst your there!

  6. Thanks so much MickPM  found one on ebay. Aparrently renault said its 251 quid for the sump and gasket!! Wow lol. And Ben sorry to sound silly but what are apr rod bolts?? What do they do and where can i get them?

Laguna II, Scenic II... anything with a 2.0 16v lump should cross over fine. I can do you a new one for £211 and I'm certain Adam can do it a little cheaper to.

  8. ARP Bolts would make it safer if you planned on increasing the torque

  9. Would a renault espace IV 1.9dci 2.0 work on it?

No i believe they're slightly different

  11. Will they stop a rod bending ?

  12. And also where can i get arp bolts? Thing is i only have 150 to spend. :worried:

  13. Not quite but every little helps

  14. I think it's more to prevent throwing a rod off the crankshaft, very popular mod on the 182s and correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't the 225 and the 182 share the same rod? Bonkers!
