1. My neighbour has just bought an RS 250 cup, leather recaros, mapped by RS tuning to 313 bhp, so anyway it's got sat nav so will it have the RS monitor as well as sat nav

  7. RS Monitor - Stupid Question

Hi just read the thread I have a 63 plate 265 Cup with Sat Nav but I was told that if the start up says Renualt Sport it also has RS Monitor ?

I cannot find any sign of it and the My Renualt site says I have R-Link can anyone help or explain to a confused newbie, thanks.

  8. Depends which monitor youve got, earlier ones wasnt available with sat nav, but the latest ones have the r-link/sat nav/monitor all in one. Have you tried turning it on, press and hold down the media buttons on the stalk

  9. Thanks its not very clear from any of the Renualt Manuals or instructions I will try as you suggest, many thanks.

  10. my 2012 250 has the TomTom satnav and says "Renault Sport" when starting up... supposedly it doesn't have RS Monitor, though, as it couldn't be combined with satnav back then, according to the seller.. Pressing the stalk top buttons at once doesn't seem to do anything, either...

I guess without RS Monitor, the throttle response settings, etc, are not available?

Is R-Link the name for the new system which combines RS Monitor and satnav into one unit? I would like to update my maps, but the R-Link toolbox software doesn't recognize my SD card - is there some other piece of software I need to use instead?

    cheers..

  11. R-link is something like smartphone-tablet on your dashboard. It has got touchscreen, and sometimes it exclude optical drive (cd/DVD). You can't just update your system to that, because it is different device.

  12. Maybe map updates through tom tom?

  13. To update maps, just use TomTom Home 2

  14. went the TomTom Home route... cheers, guys...
