I bought a second set of wheels a few weeks ago and bought new TPMS valves for them and expected to need to get them programmed to the car. I had one fitted last night and the puncture warning came up on the dash, a mile or so down the road and the warning went off and the pressure was displayed on the dash, soooo they do not need programming to the car after all ! Good news. So if Renault UK will not be keen to help me with sensor I will buy one for £40 and local garage will fit it.
No mate they don't need programming with Clip, self detecting after a few miles the ECU learns where they are so there's no problem swapping wheels around on the car. Much better system than they had on the Mk2 which was a complete pain in the arse.
