Fix a dent

  1. What about these guys then ? Anyone had any experience? I've had my door clouted by some muppet :-(

  2. I'd use dent devil

  3. Same kind of outfit I think, they any good?

  4. If you get a good company then yes they will get the dent out without any paint ! How bad is the damage ?

  5. It's too difficult to photograph ......it's basically an L shaped dent in the door panel near the front . I've shown it a fix a sent guy now and he's not certain he can do it. He's going to come and have a better look when I'm back off holidays . He seems like he wants to have a ho at it. But not guaranteeing he can fix it? Seems like a strange basis to engage him to me

  6. We used to use dent master... phenomenal work!

  7. I am PDR trained so know about the process, in a door there is about 15-20% you won't be able to get to. So if i was you just explain to him if he has a go and can't get it all out you won't be paying him in full or not at all. Also make sure he doesn't drill any holes for access into the door !

  8. In them cases though they use glue and tabs and a puller hammer.... Had that done on mine when its doubled skin

  9. /\ thanks guys

  10. I want that hammer

    This is it

  12. Nothing major. Just take door trim and push it back :tongueout:

  13. The way it would go about it is (don't PANIC it's only 5 bolts and a wiring clip) remove the door and use the access hole for the wiring loom to get to it. I would say it will come out ok.
