Removing collinite 845

  1. Alright folks, I'm needing to remove the layer of Collinite 845 I applied a few months ago to try and correct my paint work and do my summer detail. I got a bit ahead of my self and wanted to try the wax before polishing

Just for your information I did the usual pre-wash, wash, decontamination then clay but it still feels like there is some wax there.

Would something like AF Rejuvenate be suitable to remove the wax?

If no what would be best?

    cheers

  2. Clay bar should have removed it... Give it a strong APC wash or a washing up liquid rinse down

  3. Cheers mate il'l give that a bash!

I've been trying out a clay cloth and it's been good for removing contaminants but defiantly didn't remove the wax as it's rained over night and the cars all beeded up

  4. G101 sprayed liberally all over should do it chap.

  5. Perfect got some G101 on the way! Currently using AF verso

  6. Claying should do the job although as soon as you start polishing it will remove your protection anyway so just crack on with the claying and polishing.

Might find that it's beading because of something in the lubricant used to clay the car. Either way the polish will take it off.
