I assume you mean can you fit a decat pipe to a standard exhaust system ?

If so , the answer is yes. It will need a light mapping out though.

 

I see decatting mentioned a lot on here, and I was wondering what you guys do for MOT? Reinstall the cat (and map) ?

 

A friendly MOT tester is the best way

Refitting the cat is a pretty big job , driveshaft out

 

hehe... ok... finding a MOT tester who is willing to ignore the emissions test here in Denmark would be hard... better leave the cat in place then ;-)

Yes you can, I have a 2.75" ktec on the standard system (backbox chop).

If the centrebox is in place it will whistle.

You'll need to remap it after fitting the decat though.

 

Yes I have decat on standard system at the minute what's the whistle everyone goes on about sounds shite IMO. In fact the meganes all sound shite I'll only be getting rid of the back box on mine to save weight lol
