Been on here for a while but haven't made a vehicle blog yet so here we go! Got the car for almost a year now and has been faultless! The car has a replacement engine from Renault and has run around 60k miles now. The previous owner had it mapped and it runs around 260bhp according the dyno print out that came with the car. Mods that i've done so far are: - R26 dampers - Cooksport Springs - Forge BOV And that's about it so far, plans are bigger injector's, bigger FMI and decat with exhaust and a remap! Now time for some pic's! I picked my freshly sprayed wheels up yesterday, they're gonna be fitted after the weekend
Tomorrow is the Renault Tuning Club openings meeting here in Holland, gonna have a look over there. Decided i can't take the car dirty, so after i got a new cam belt kit yesterday i gave it some TLC today:cool:, first pic's also of my freshly sprayed wheels on, so what do you think?? (better pic's will follow!)
Here a link to pic's i've took at the Dutch Renault Sport meeting https://www.flickr.com/photos/68612978@N08/sets/72157643606709175/ And a small movie i made with my GoPro http://youtu.be/btvRtPZ8_ng

Small update, last week i received the new Airtec intercooler from Trackfocus direct, great service and quick delivery! The intercooler itself is much thicker and higher then the standard one, and i have the feeling i've lost a bit of flat spot in midrange rev's and a bit quicker throttle response. The build quality is really great, but i'll let the pic's do the talking ;-) A mate of mine was kind enough to offer some time in his garage Megane RS 225 AIRTEC Intercooler by Paul_jazzy83, on Flickr Megane RS 225 AIRTEC Intercooler by Paul_jazzy83, on Flickr Megane RS 225 AIRTEC Intercooler by Paul_jazzy83, on Flickr Megane RS 225 AIRTEC Intercooler by Paul_jazzy83, on Flickr Megane RS 225 by Paul_jazzy83, on Flickr Megane RS 225 AIRTEC Intercooler by Paul_jazzy83, on Flickr Megane RS 225 by Paul_jazzy83, on Flickr So after that i took it for a ride and tested it, well chuffed and deffinately worth the money imho! Couldn't resist to take some more quick pic's of it, really needs a clean though! gaitor is £138 and the gear knob was £78 so £216,- total delivered to Holland, so bit cheaper to you as you live in the UK, Adam sorted me the parts out
Yup royal steering wheels charge £50 for both. On that note Steve could you grab some high res pics of yours so I can send them to royal to copy?
Nice additions Paul, the .R wheels are one of the best looking wheels for the MK2 RS imo, Look forward to seeing the callipers on as well!
Wel time to update this thread, i've done quite a few bits since my last update: - Fitted the Brembo's - ATE Superblue (cazan 330 discs and Ferodo 1.11 next month) - RSTuning 3" decat - KTEC 3" catback exhaust - R25 F1 seats - TPI Wheels bolts - R26.R wheels resprayed - Fully detailed and protected with GTechniq C1 + EXOv2 Gonna make some decent pic's soon! Going to RSTuning when time allows after i've fitted my Meg 250 turbo and 630cc injectors, quite busy now as a fresh dad! Stunning, I just picked up a set of .r rims today for my black 225, seeing yours makes me feel like I made the right choice
Congratulations on becoming a dad! I'm in the same boat... Little one is only 5 weeks old!!! Car looks and sounds great mate!
Thanks! It's 'only' a 500 mile trip, but as far as i know Paul is the only one who has a lot of experience mapping in the 630's! The offset is also a plus! Thanks, just wished the cooksport would've dropped the car a bit more! Congratulations too you 2 then! Mine is from 16th January, a boy, really changes your life! And my sleep pattern lol!! You've got a boy or girl?
