May still be worth a visual over the back of the engine and on the underside though as i've known Renaults spec listings be wrong on occasions before.
ok thanks for the info, whats the service intervals on these? i will probably get it done every year which will be around 8k a year anyway.
I was told 9k/1 year to avoid trouble. I was using mine for nearly 40k miles without any issues. Why didn't you look for 110 ps version? Because of DPF?
Officially they are on 18k/2yr intervals but we always advise annual oil and filter on any turbo charged engine regardless of mileage... you never hear of a car dying from regular servicing ;-)
Make sure to use a good quality low ash oil, a dpf can burn soot out but its ash that tends to block up a dpf.
Non-DPF vehicles can use any 5w/40 oil that conforms to RN0700/0710 where the DPF-Equipped vehicles need RN0720 (especially if under warranty)
