Agreed. On some of those bends you could really see understeer from the leon in my view. im also not sure he was in 265 mode but normal 250 mode. In 265 the exhaust pops and bangs in high revs all the time, in 250 mode it doesnt and in that vid i couldnt hear any pops (bar when he hit the limiter twice) - if so he was another 10bhp odd and 10lb down for the lap
0.7 seconds is nothing on a lap really and as boring as the Leon looks its still a pretty good 5 seater machine
Seat is bloody awful to look at, and considering VAG had 3-4 years time to make something that could beat the Megane....

Not you Steve, See it all the time as soon as the RS Megane/Whatever gets compared to something else people are always slating the other products like the RS is the be all and end of cars.
it is a rs forum, what other response do you expect? Renault have been among the best at producing hot hatches for years, it all depends what your after in a car.
My 225 (with mods) beat a leon cupra last year on way to TRAX they must be limited to around 140-145 i was touching 150 he was getting smaller in my mirrors (private road of course)
anyone see the national news yesterday..guy caught doing 149mph..something to think about..he will probally get jail time.
Sorry but wtf does that have to do with this thread? Also maybe he realised 140mph is a bit fast for public roads so slowed down?
