  1. Got some Speedline Turinis from Rimstyle. I'm not too sure though, what do you guys think?

  2. I like Imho I think powdercoated black would look even better, your halfway towards the new trophy 275 tho

  3. Lovely wheel, I had them on my impreza RB 320, they look mint, they may look better in the 19 but they look mint mate

  4. I think they look too small. It is because quite wide outer rim. Paint them black or get 19".

  5. Yeah I was hoping I wouldn't have to have black wheels as I've currently got some black BBS CH's on with wobble bolts but fancied a different colour. I think black is all that works though!

And funnily enough I was on the phone to speedline the other day as they are part of Ronal who supply us wheels at work and when I found out I got in touch with Speedline direct. They offered me a set at cost but the order with Rimstyle had already gone through so they sent me some goodies instead haha.

Shame I think I'm going to have to return these wheels anyway because of the paint defects. Just need to decide whether to go for another set or a refund. I fancy the 265 'Tibor' wheels if I need black wheels, as I don't like the BBS's ...

  6. Yeah I think you're both right about black 19's. I've got Steev wheels though and I'm not a fan. I'm also not a fan of the cost of 19" tyres!

What are your thoughts on the Tibor wheels?

    Thoughts?

  8. I've got the satin black tibors on mine. Fucking love them.

those speedlines do look great but i agree, need to be 19s

  9. Now that looks the dogs

  10. Also the front end of that looks miles better than the new one, the MK 3 seems to be growing on me, in the yellow though

  11. You see the light Steve

  12. I do like them in yellow, that one looks mint, I'd have the 250 with a set of coilovers , map, good pads, remove the rear seats and a pair of track seats and harnesses, job done

  13. I agree

  14. Be a hell of a car, obviously with a good set of tyres as well, I may end up going down this route

  15. Why not, 300/300+ in that car with semi slicks would be great fun

Looks good, My mate had mentioned that he had sent a set out for a Yellow Megane, Didn't realise it was yours

  19. I like them!

  20. They were £1433 delivered with Michelin PS2's, so not cheap! And the paint defects are really bugging me, so I took the two that I had fitted off the car straight away and will call Rimstyle on Tuesday and see what they say.

Yeah I got a picture earlier actually:

    Shit me thats alot ha

Looks smart on the bbs though

  22. Leave them on mate, they look like they belong on their, perfect. If I get a 250 their the wheels

  23. I think that's quite cheap, must be £600 just for the tyres, R held are £900 with no tyres

  24. Yeah I'm in two minds about the BBS's ...

    The BBS or Speedline?

The car badly needs lowering. I've got some H&R springs I'll fit next week. If they aren't good enough then V3's it is ...

  25. The black BBS wheels look the dogs, I agree lower it a little , job done and enjoy it .

Looks awesome on the BBS James!, Sell me them

    Mate works at Rimstyle, Kev?

  27. Ahh you reckon? Might do that! Would make life a lot easier lol. Still tempted by the 265 wheels though ...

Ah it was a guy called Gary that I dealt with. Great company! I just hope they can offer me a refund on these speedlines as the paint is pretty poor.

Would you be interested?? As above, I'm half tempted!

If I had the spare cash I would buddy, been an expensive couple months with mine though so a bit skint for car parts :worried:

  29. Car would look mint black tibors!

  30. Keep the BBS rims on. They look ace.

  31. What size are those BBS ?

  32. Would look a lot better if lowered IMHO the wheels look small with that arch gap are they 18s ?

  33. They are 18x8 et50 and a centre bore of 72.6 (spigot rings fitted of course). PCD of 5x112 so adjustable washer bolts are used which work a treat!

Yeah the car definitely needs lowering. Got some H&R springs which are now being returned as H&R coilovers are on order

  34. Cheers James, thanks for the info. I've got some 19s in a similar style which should be due any time now

  35. Looks like ATS / Wolfrace still have no date for my wheels so may be cancelling my order with them. Looking at other options now, how safe are the wobble bolts ? Really like the look of your BBS wheels !

  36. I'll be honest, I've always been unsure because they are called 'wobble bolts' but after buying them and using them I'm more than happy to use them. The ones I bought have locking wheel nuts which are actually TUV approved. They simply have a washer with a slightly bigger internal diameter than a standard bolt.

If it means anything, I'm an engineer at Bentley and I'm happy to use them. I've ran them for a while and they are still torqued up.

The wheels are for sale if you are interested

  37. Cheers James, I've been doing a bit of digging and noticed they have TUV approval. I appreciate your help, if an Engineer is happy to use them then that says a lot to me personally that they're ok to use - I'm after 19s though. I'm off to the wheel place tomorrow so will have a look to see what options I have in that style of rim

  38. Well I've ordered the Tibor wheels from Renault now, so the BBS wheels are for sale if anyone is interested!

  39. Yerrrr, tibors are the best, youll love them

  40. How much you give for the tibors from Reno?
