Ive always wanted to set out early one day and take a day out up wales for the roads! Are they really that good?
There are some brilliant roads. Evo magazine do a lot of tests in North Wales. Google the evo triangle. I still need to take my meg up there, would love to see how good it is on propper roads.
I struggle to find anywhere to really stretch the meganes legs, for example today I went for a B road blast and only came across cyclists and horses. Not too bad in the 172 but the 265 tends to eat whatever small stretch of road I can find up at a dangerously illegal pace lol.
They are brilliant. Every year I drive from M4 towards Llundudno thru Breacon Beacon Park and Snowdonia area. Scenic route and twisty, not very busy roads.
I fancy some beers. Good excuse to go for a drive to the shop via a long cut. Before consuming said beers, obviously.
I tried to organise one for last weekend for another forum i'm on but my clutch was knackered so had to cancel it. I'll put up details on here when I rearrange it.
