i tried to use cruise control the other day and found that it keeps the car going at the required speed... but on a hill it lets the car go past the required speed. also when i press up on the steering wheel it speeds the car up but does nothing when i press down just flashes up check cruise control? any ideas?

i was considering it mate but no1 wants to pay what i want for it so im keeping haha ive got too much money in it atm in the last 2 months to sell it cheap
If the car is going downhill it is possible to accelerate past the preset as it has no control over the braking system. The display will flash to warn you of the over speed.
and also, it will flash while it decelerates after you lowered the speed with the buttons. the CC only brakes by engine
mine used to keep at the same speed, i drive to blackpool hell of alot and come over the pennines but the car would never freeroll past whatever the computer says but i could accelerate and it would say 'speed memory 70mph' but when i was going downhill it would never exceed 70mph and i could feel the car jerking to keep to the speed... now i cant even slow the speed down using the controlls on the steering wheel..
Yeah, I think you gota drop on someone who wants one, I looked at a 250 a bit back and he said he don't want mine in PX coss he would be stuck with it as nice as it is. lol
