Just ordered some new injectors, was hoping to wait a few months until I got the r26 mot'd then I could put the decat on with some bigger injectors and get it remapped but the idle is getting too lumpy now
I've ordered cam belt kit, aux belt kit water pump, decat, and 630cc injectors When they all come its getting took down to rs tuning! For all the work and a map tweak!
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/181334029907 It's from the Nottingham motor company, they are a renault dealer cheaper than anywhere else I could find for genuine renault injectors
Just ordered these the replace the OEM bolts. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=370838161225&ssPageName=ADME:L:OC:GB:3160
As it's Sunday I get away with this! I had a play with a new focus earlier...it's a very fast Car in standard form!! Not quite fast enough though
When my mate got them they were mapped straight on with no problems, the bloke says they are matched to 1-3%
Unfortunately sorn'd my car today as new baby is due and have to save some pennies. Gives me a few months to do some bits to it that need doing
Swapped over the plastic inner wheel arch rear sections for the front wheels as the originals were shattered. All good didn't take to long to sort out .
Stripped the interior, cleaned all the carpets, run the wiring for my heated seats properly under the carpet. Then I thought i fried my ECU and had a massive stress panic. Turns out I needed a new battery. £46 and its sorted. Better than the no doubt 1k+ for a new ecu.
Dropped the car off at Mark Black's on an AA lorry as it died... If it's terminal then it's forging time
Its a bugger mate cos I've only just had all 8 exhaust valves replaced after the timing slipped.. thinking I should definitely put forged Rods in. Would I need forged pistons for up to 350bhp?
