Had a little service today and a new shiny mount fitted, need to give it another go over but will do for now. Feels loads better with new oil, ready for a change to, millers nano drive ftw. Thanks to Mick.
Fitted a centre silencer so I no longer have a straight through from turbo, sounds perfect now with decat and back box chop
I rolled mine out the workshop and gave it a wee power wash. No pics yet though, ill try and get some tomorrow. Its not too shabby for an 04 plate
Decided to ditch the evil RC6 pads in favour of some DS's. Thought it might be time to try something new on the bells so opted for Candy metallic purple. Also got the wheels refurbished and finished in gloss black. Really pleased with the results. Got something a little special going on tomorrow too
refitted inlet pipe to turbo as is had fallen off and was badly pinched due to poor fitment. Probably sucking in un filtered air for 30k miles. Apprently the sucking sound I highlighted to the garage is normal due to air box mods and re-map (quite as a mouse now).... Also new TRs and TREs, they were so shagged! steering is much better now and would recommend megane owners to do this every 40k miles.
Car went to see RST yesterday. More tweakery. Injectors, huge cone filter, map tweak. Not had had chance it drive it yet , wife derive it there and back . Declared it great fun on fast roads but wants to go fast in built up areas so tiring..
turns out the wires had messed up inside the motor and come out of the track, had to disconnect them to get the window back up. No way they'll fit back in as they are all kinked up and bent. Anyone aware of a fix for this? Is it covered when renault replace the widow mech?
